The WG2&3 joint meeting was held at Housing and Building Research Institute on 11th March 2018. Around 20 presentations regarding seismic evaluation and seismic retrofit were made, and were actively discussed.
Especially, Rapid Visual Screening (RVS) method for seismic evaluation to take care of huge numbers of buildings in Dhaka was presented by Mr. Shafiul ISLAM (TohokuU) and many interests, suggestions and comments were made from participants.
In addition, experimental results and their analysis from UTokyo, TohokuU, OsakaU, DaidoU, BUET and UAP were explained and discussed in terms of project implementation.
